CASH BACK SITES

Cashback sites are useful if you are going to buy something on the Internet anyway. If you do it through them, you get back some of the money you spent. Almost like using a credit card which gives you cash back when you use it.

Latest hint, if selling old unwanted mobile phones, use Martin Lewis's cashback maximiser for mobile phone deals, and then go through TopCashBack.

Open an account with a NEW used mobile buying site, for EACH phone you want to sell and that way you get more cashback to add to the amount that the site pays you for your old mobile phone.

Mopay and Envirophone are the ones I have used and am happy with, there are quite a few more, some are run by Envirophone.

The cunning bit is, if you sell second and subsequent phones to Envirophone, for example, they only perhaps give £1.50 CASHBACK per additional phone sold to them.

If you sell to one of their satelite companies, then you can get £3 cashback for being a "new customer" instead.

Plus what they pay you for your phone of course!

After extensive research, I recommend Top Cashback (only UK members can join this).

NO admin fee, no payout threshold and gives 100% of the payment they receive from the merchant, to you, with no deductions.

In fact, you can easily get over £10 without spending a penny in a few days (depending on if you already are a member of some sites, as you will not get paid for joining them again, in fact that will cause your account to be deleted). It does take a while for all the cash to be paid out, as some merchants take a while to pay TopCashBack, but you can request payment from as little as £0.01, yes that is right, ONE PENNY, so long as it is paid to your Bank Account or PayPal.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIRST £10 (more or less) ON TOPCASHBACK

1. Sign up to Top Cashback

2. SIGNUP TO THESE MERCHANTS FOR FREE, NO NEED TO PAY.

Select "Useful Links" from the BROWSE button on top of the page, and join what you can. Select "ALL" and "HIGHEST £" to speed up finding the no-purchase needed offers that are worth doing first.

Then select the "Recently Added Offers" and see if they have anything not in the above selection, that you fancy doing. For example, perhaps your kids want a WII game, and you go to GAME or The Hut and buy it there at an already reasonable price, and get more off by cash back.

Then select the option "Recently Updated Offers" to make sure you notice everything, if you want to avoid buyiing anuything, selext "highest £" or if buying something try "highest %" first.
Personallyh I find "all" and "Newest Added" the most useful, once you have done all the merchants you can on joining. That way you miss nothing new.

Finally there are :
DAILY EARNERS
Its Your View £0.01 or £0.70 if you get a survey
     The HighStreet Web £0.04
     WeAllShop £0.02
     Kelkoo £0.01

TOTAL DAILY EARNINGS £0.08 or £0.77 (or more, once I had 4 surveys in one day = £2.80!!!)

Hence in even as little as 1 days time from joining you should easily have got over £10.

You can speed this up if you search for Vans and Cars, just see the site for "recurring offers" link.

I have not included them here as I do not drive, and felt it unethical to encourage others to search falsely.

Of the search engines, Kelkoo is the best, but The HighStreet Web is next best. I have found some cheap memory cards using them and Kelkoo. The rest of the search sites are a bit rubbish in my opinion, having used them a few times.

You can also join to Opinion WOrld (£0.50), Super Free Bingo (£0.50), MyOffers (£1.00), My Survey (£1.50) and Get Me A Ticket (£0.70), without spending a penny, indeed, some earn you even more in paid surveys, etc, but I have not included them in the table above, because I am only listing merchants that tracked for me, and I have personal experience of.

Since I am a member of these already, I CANNOT SIGN UP TO THEM AGAIN (and to do so might cause the TopCashBack account to be deleted), so cannot talk honestly about how they behave on TopCashBack. They are all OK, however.
If you want to give it a try, join Top Cashback here.

Some points to consider if joining any of the others.

If possible, use the cashback site that gives most money, has the lowest minimum payout threshold (so you do not have to wait ages to get paid), and do as much shopping on that site so your each pay-out quicker.

If you spread your purchases amongst many cashback sites you may fail to reach the minimum payout on all of them because none of them have enough purchases for you to reach the qualifying minimum payout amount.

That will then mean you may never get paid from some of the lesser used sites since they will not have much that is relevant to your interests or requirements.

On the other hand, some sites negotiate really good deals, sometimes deals that you would not get as an independent purchaser going direct to the merchant's site.

Hence I suggest join ALL the cashback sites you can, obviously I am hoping you will do me a favour and do so "just in case", using this site's cash back links.

It costs you nothing, and you may find a bargain exclusive to one site only, not the rest. Such as the Virgin Credit card I now use, and could only be paid (£5) by using Cashback Kings.

Another tip, if nearly at payout level, perhaps only £2 or £3 say, it might be worth buying something even if you will only store/throw/give it away and get the extra cashback that will take you over the payment threshold. Only applies if you have decided to not use the cashback site any more and do not want to lose the money earned so far.

If you join up to the mailing list at the bottom of this site, I will send 2-3 emails from an autoresponder, only one a day. The first or second of which will contain the name and link to a site that is vastly superior to mine, and has a lot more information on cashback sites, which ones are best, and where the highest cashback can be obtained for a particular product.

Alternatively, use the Google Search engine to look for the term "cashback" if you do not like the idea of me getting something from the merchants, when you sign up with from my cashback links on this site, or if you do not want to risk spam emails, even though promise I will not sell your email address or abuse it.

Latest addition, is PureProfile. Today I just finished a survey and got £2. Unfortunately payout is £25, but I am half way there now. You earn $1 for every $5 your referrals earn up to a maximum of $5 for each member. So if you recruit 100 members, and they all earn over $5 then you get $100 (£50 if in the UK). Give them a try.

If still here, thanks for helping this site by joining up from the links below. As a perk of remaining on this webpage, and returning to it after signing up to each site (use the BACK browser button to do so if you lose me), I have put the cash back sites that do not have a payment threshold and no admin fee first.

That means TopCashBack and CashBack Kings first, then Rpoints as their threshold for payment is only £1 (only if payment by BACS though, which I prefer!).

MutualPoints is a site I have belonged to forever it seems. At least 10 years, possibly up to 12 years. They bought out MyPoints (the UK version only) which I was a member of years ago. I have had at least one payment of £20 every year, sometimes 2, for just reading emails and joining up to things FOR FREE, which earn you points. I joined up to their credit card and it was very useful as it had 0% balance transfer for 1 year. You also get cash back for shopping. 3000 points allows you to request a £20 High Street Voucher. I usually get Argos ones.

Cashback Kings
Owned by Rpoints, which is strange as Rpoints only gives 20 pence for joining Zoom Panel, yet
Cashback Kings gives £1 !!

Just to obfuscate things here is a similar sounding named site. CashbacKing It has DAILY CLICKS as well, and in fact has many more than most of the other cashback sites, the usual Kelkoo and the HighStreet Web search of course, and insurance and car related daily searches as well. Not sure how long it would last if members hammered these sites, before they deleted CashbacKing from their affiliate schemes so not paying CashbacKing, who therefore could not pay us!

WePromiseTo is a cashback site that lets you register a credit card (any card, not just one signed up to from them) and if you go into a (currently limited, hopefully expanding soon) range of shops on the High Street, you get cashback in your WePromiseTo account. That is on top of any cash back that will be credited to your credit card! So if you used an American Express 5% cashback card, you would get even more total savings on what you would have to buy anyway!!!

Loyalty Shopper is a nice site. When you join, allow an hour to take the Just Rewards.co.uk site's Experian survey, and if you already did it in the last 12 months, do not bother as at the end they say you have already done it in the last 12 months so reject your survey. At least, that is what happened to me. So I assume I am not entered into the £5000 prize draw, but am now a member of JustRewards.co.uk. I will wait to see what the emails indicate in the future.

The point being, that this, and another signup task are needed to be done on the FIRST DAY OF JOINING Loyalty Shopper, to get £10 in bonus points that only applies to the first day you join. The other tasks include getting a quote for Household Insurance, or for Car Insurance.

They pay with Amazon and other vouchers (you choose), unlike the sites mentioned so far, but these are still a valuable resource.

Finally, here is a little known cashback site. A combination of search engine, price comparison and cashback in fact!!! You will not find this on many other sites talking about cashback sites. There may be a reason for that so use "due dilligence" before joining.

I joined, tried them, am not that impressed, since I am a cheapskate, and there do not seem to be a list of easy to earn "free points". You have to guess that PriceRunner, KelKoo and the like, are on there to find them and use them to get a small payment each day, just for searching.

Interesting to see the relationship of this site on other related sites

Alternatively, search for other shopping items, not only CASHBACK, using the handy search box.
